My name is Joel Landy. I produce and host Songs of Freedom. In the eleven years the show has been on, artists and activists have been acknowledged and featured, representing issues and work dedicated to social justice.

More than that, viewers have been informed, entertained and, I hope, inspired to take action in the issues important in their lives and communities.

The show has been a meeting place of ideas and individuals and a space where
