| On May 14, 2008, the world
changed forever. At least for Takako and me it did. We brought a
child into the world. One of the things having a baby does is change
how often you go out and see friends and others. People ask about
the baby and want to see pictures. These pages have been assembled
to honor your requests and satisfy your curiosity.
Takako and I want to thank you all for your generosity during our adventure into parenthood. Your gifts, advice and volunteering of time have been invaluable to us. One of the benefits of having a child later in life is having so many friends and relatives with child rearing experience. We thank you in advance for your sage words and will be calling upon you for them during the coming months and years. The keeping of this photo journal not only will provide you with the development of a new human being who you will get to know, it will also have me look at experiences and choices I am responsible for.
